Core Projects:
Balkanism - Founded in 2020 by Arbër, Balkanism is a grassroots educational, archival, curatorial, community and visual arts initiative and publication. It is dedicated to presenting progressive, inclusive representations of the Balkan region and its global diasporic communities. By promoting accessible education and cultural engagement, Balkanism seeks to foster inter-ethnic solidarity, encourage healing, and strengthen communities both within the Balkans and across its diasporas.
Balkan London Collective - Co-founded in 2023 by Arbër and Tamara Vujinović, the Balkan London Collective produces regular events for the Balkan diaspora communities and their allies in London/Britain with a progressive anti-ethnonationalist ethos.
Community Curators - Established in 2024 by the Migration Museum, Community Curators seeks to open up access to artistic exploration while ensuring that underrepresented narratives, histories, and experiences are given space and visibility.
